Graduating from Cardiff in 2014, he completed his 3-year postgraduate training in Prosthodontics and now awaits acceptance on the Specialist list for the GDC. His designation as a specialist Prosthodontist with the GDC is set for September 2023.

Graduating from Cardiff University with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery, Laurie has since undertaken extensive training across several renowned NHS hospitals, including the Royal Gwent Hospital. In addition to delivering exceptional clinical care, Laurie is actively involved in teaching and mentoring dental students and junior doctors, sharing knowledge to inspire the next generation of dental professionals.
Laurie also dedicates time to research and quality improvement projects, aiming to advance oral surgery practices for the benefit of all patients. Fluent in Welsh and passionate about healthcare excellence, Laurie combines technical expertise with a warm and approachable manner.
Outside of work, Laurie is a keen sportsperson who has played hockey at an international level for Wales. Laurie also enjoys playing racket sports, staying active, and spending quality time with family.
